The nature of debate is not to argue, but rather to broaden perspective. Human beings as a species can be incredibly short-sighted. Let's change that, shall we?

Overachiever? Underachiever? MidAchiever?
True or False?
You always do your best in everything you try.
Answer with complete honesty and talk about the reasons why that statement is true or false.
I do my best in most things, but sometimes I think that certain things are just not worth the effort. In school, I always try my best no matter the subject. However, if someone asks me to wash the dishes or clean the house, I'm not going to try my best. I try my best when I do something that I feel is important and sometimes when I'm helping out a friend. That's all I can really say on the subject.
I dont always do my best in everything. If I have a love and passion for something I will give it 110%,but if not than I would even try at all. Also if it is something that will benefit me in the long run of course I will give it my all. It really just depends what it is
I'm an underachiever. Like in school, I usually know the material, but I am lazy and I don't do a lot of the work. But if I enjoy doing something then I will certainly do my best and try my hardest at it.
I am a underachiver. The reason I am a underachiver is because I dont try. When i used to try in school i was a A/B student. Now that dont care and try i have c's,d's and f's. I am also a underachiver because I can't keep my mind foucused on one thing. The underachiveing part just let me knows that if i try i can do it i just have no motovation to do well.
I can't label myself as one of those. I will always try and give something a chance, but if it's not working out for me I will not overachieve for something I feel is wasting my time. I'm an overachiever when it comes to writing, reading, art, and history. I want to know what's what but I won't compare myself to others, I'll overachieve for myself. I actually dislike when people get wrapped up in being perfect that they miss all the little things that passes them by because they're concentrating one thing. I feel like overachieving results in that a lot, so I like to be moderate. Too much of anything is a bad thing... I don't think I ever underachieve. I lied, if underachieving means to get to the point of not even trying.. then I'm guilty of giving up before. I try to be as passionate, and absolutely into anything I start but if my heart's not in it then I can't force myself, because then I will begin to hate it. I'd rather not "fake" something then do it miserably where it effects me in a bad way.
I don't do the best I can; I'm a definite underachiever. I guess it might be because I have no motivation to do anything I should, so I don't do it. If an assignment in school isn't interesting to me or is too time consuming, I won't do it. Sometimes it gets to the point however, where I actually need to not be a stubborn lazy ass and do my work. Even then though, I probably won't give it my all. I tend to just do what's necessary.
I don't do the best I can. I often don't see the point of doing things. Also, I am very lazy and when you put those two together I am an underachiever. My mom would tell you I often only do work half done.
I consider myself an underachiever when it comes to schoolwork and an overachiever when it comes to sports. I always do what’s necessary in school to pass a class; I never try to hard for a class. I don’t study hard and I miss home works all the time. It’s the complete opposite with my sports, I give it my very best in all the sports I do. I cannot do a sport without giving it my very best or I will feel like a loser.
When it comes to most things in my life I am a midachiever I have no problem doing only what is necessary to get by. However, I can never be someone who does less of what is required. Since I was young I was told that I had to always do what I was told and respect others. This has transferred into my life now because I can’t find the power to be able to under achieve. I can only over achieve when I truly care about something. For example I enjoy public speaking; it’s something I am very passionate about. So in order to get the most out of it I try my best in every way, when it comes to every day life though I prefer to just be an average Joe.
I think of myself as a mid-achiever. Some things I will try hard at if I have enough motivation to do it. But other things I don`t really care for. For example, I would be an over-achiever if the outcome of my hard work became something useful later on. But if theres something thats not really on the top of my "goals" that I "have" to do I would probably half-ass it given on what I had to do. That is why I consider myself as a mid-achiever.
I feel like I'm an over achieving procrastinator. Honestly I only over achieve if what I'm working on has my intrest if it can't hold my attention for more than ten minutes then I probably won't be willing to put more effort into it then is needed. Honestly alot of time the reason that I over achieve is just for the simple fact that I wanna be better than whoever else is doing that same thing, it's go hard or go home then
OH HELLO SUDDEN BLOG!! I always do my best in everything I try because I know that if I don't try my best, I would never be able to sleep. Lord knows what would happen if I never tried my best. I wouldn't be where I am today. At this specific time, I am at my worst because of my illness and I haven't been able to perform at 100%. Instead it's about "40-50%". I would do anything to be healthy and wrestle again from the beginning of the season but unfortunately I can't. I tried, but I failed. I failed at doing my best. I thought it was my best this whole time until I knew what was wrong.
False.
