The nature of debate is not to argue, but rather to broaden perspective. Human beings as a species can be incredibly short-sighted. Let's change that, shall we?

Girls Rule, Boys Drool!!! ;)
In your opinion, what is the most unfair thing about being a male/female?
Include the differences that exist in perception, in reputation etc between the two sexes.
The most unfair thing about being a male is the fact that we have to pay child support (in many cases), buy the wedding rings, pay ridiculously expensive dinner/outing bills, along with all of the other dirty work, for example, getting into it with another dude if he disrespects our women. These are just off the top of my dome. There are many more as well as there are for women too. Paying child support when it's really NOT our child is one hell of a thing to do, I believe. I believe that a lot of women see $$$$$. To some women, they think, "Ooooooooooo, Imma have maself heees kiyyyd n he gone b mah baby daddy. If he leave me he gone pay chaaaw suppowt!" Yes, I know, this phrase is well-known, especially in the Atlantic City's of the world. What women don't know is that men can really get out of paying child support. The next one I have is wedding expenses. A wedding is the hardest thing for the groom because he is the "man" and he should pay for the wedding. He has many families to impress. So, correct me if I'm wrong...We pay for the wedding, ($20-50,000), and the ring?, ($5-10,000). Not to mention the honeymoon, ($5,000). Next we have the outings. If you're reading this, I hope you're not a gold digger. Then again, half of our class is...but anyways, for a new, fresh, shy-ish "perfect couple", an outing could cost a paycheck, and usually does, trust me. For the average gold digger, an outing could cost a months rent. YUP! A great day at The Walk in Atlantic City will cost us men loads of lost money. At Ruth's Chris Steak House, you get horrible service and dirty food with a great reputation and THE PERFECT BILL. Guess who's paying for this trash...yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. Next up, we have my last deadly job of the man for a female. That is. . .ALTERCATIONS!!!! Intimidating word isn't it? Well, it's not bad at all actually, but to some, it's the, "Pee in the Pants Moment." We all know that if a dude tries to disrespect our woman in any way, we have to react, no matter the size, shape, or form of the disrespectful individual. This is called unnecessarily showing off. It doesn't matter if we come out with the W or L. Let's say. . .Mmm, Richard, for example, has his female friend in Zimbabwe or wherever she's from, they're on their honeymoon and they go out to the local Okagnowaho corner store in southside Zimbabwe. He sees Usain Bolt's cousin, 6'6", 230 lb Rastaman, Tooktus. Tooktus stares at Rich's female and says a rude comment. Rich decides to throw his glasses and a rock at Tooktus's King Kong chest. 5 seconds later, Tooktus basically kills Rich. In the end, was it worth it? Was the scuffle with Tooktus really worth nearly dying? That basically sums up the future of each young man in room 204. Women do go through a lot, don't get me wrong, but men have to be tougher mentally to live the life of a . . . Man. :)
lmao...Ian, traditionally, the bride's parents pay for the wedding. We can talk about Usain, gold diggers and child support tomorrow--if the lovely ladies of 204 don't kill you first, that is ;).
When it comes down to gender wars both sides get treat unfairly. However, I believe that the guys get treated the most unfairly. The reason for my opinion is the simple fact that guys are held up to this idea that every on of us have to be this tough guy who doesn’t take crap from no one. When it comes down to it though most of us aren’t like that, girls make guys feel like we have to be this way otherwise there isn’t much of a chance we are getting with them. Instead some girls rather deal with guys that treat them like garbage and want nothing to do with them. That’s what I think is unfair in the good old gender war the fact that guys have to be tough 24/7 no matter what the situation is.
The most unfair thing about being a boy is the fact we have to win all the time. If I where to loss to a boy every simply says "He was just better then you". However, if I loss to a girl I get laughed at by everyone. When was the last time you heard of someone saying that you hit like a boy as an insult. We always have to be the stronger gender and we look less human when we are not. I have the feeling the girls in the room will disagree but , this is only what I see in society.
The most unfair thing about being a male is have pay for everything for the girl. I found this out because I started to count all the money out my bank. So I had 2,000 in the bank so I took out 500 to have for me. Of course prom rolls around and I have to get a ticket so that that’s 80 right out my pocket. It’s ok though because im left with 420 dollars. No its not because now I have to get an ticket for my date is that’s 80 more out my pocket. So now im left with 340 to do whatever. No now I got to get a tux so that’s 65 to rent the tuxes. Also I have to be that wrist ban thing or whatever that thing is call for 15 dollars I hope… So now im left with 260 to do whatever I want. Still no because now I got to get actually flower for you so that another 30 out my pocket and you want me on your party bus that’s another 85 I also have to pay for you too because you want to come that’s another 85. So now im left with 30. I went from 500 to 30 im mad as hell. That’s not even the worst part my nieces just came up too me and said my birthday is tomorrow and she want a new game that’s 30 out my pocket again and now im broke. Shake my head (smh) you girls are a tripp.
Well to be totally honest i love being a female, but I hate the fact the girls are always under-estimated. Guys dont think we have as much strength as them. Most guys think that they are superior to us women, we are in the 21st century now and we have been equals for quite some time now! I don't like how some (men) think it is the womens responsibility to run the house and not work. Although that might be a good idea for some women, it's not for me! I like being independent and being able to have and spend my OWN money. I do sometimes like to have guys spend money on me but i like being able to take care of myself. There are some obvious differences between men and women though, for instance if men have sex with a lot of women they are a "Man" but if women do that, they are called a whore etc. We have come along way, but there's always more improvement that can be made.!
The danger of being a girl, we are the under-estimated gender. We are seen as the gender that needs males to take care of us, yes it is nice to have someone treat you like a Queen, but it’s not so much fun when you’re limited in your doing because it’s dangerous to be a girl. My brother is always allowed to do as he pleases, and my sister and I never get to. It’s okay for him to come and go when he pleases, when he smokes it was a big deal but not when he became an adult. I also think that girls are always in a competition, it’s hard because we’re the gender that’s more self-conscious, we have to be careful or we get heat for it. I’m not saying boys have it easy, because some girls that play around with guys are evil, and there is some intense gold-diggers, but overall I feel like girls have it harder. I still love being a girl, because as stereotypical as it sounds, yes I want to take care of myself, but if a guy is there for me, protective, for the most part financially taking care of me, then I don’t mind letting everything else fall into place, like I’ll cook, work, and take care of him. I never respected the men that left their families, and statistics show that men leave and cheat more than women. Yet I also don’t respect the women that do, or put themselves before their children. It’s not about who has it harder, or who can do better than the other, I feel like each have certain jobs, and adding up all the jobs together would create a partnership. It’s like a company, everyone has a job, everything is compatible, and every aspect is as important as the other. If one thing fails, the other does too.
The biggest differnce to me personally between a guy and girl is what they think. Now if you think about it guys ussually see a hot girl and are like i wanna hit it. But when girls see a guy they like they almost all the time want to be in a relatioship with them. Another thing in thinking is I think that guys have more mental toughness than girls. If you put someone in pressured situattion girls are more likely to breakdown than guys. That why if you look at the us miltary girls aren't in the infantry because most girls don't have the mental tougness or physical streght to deal with stuff like that then guys. That is my oppion on why mental toughness is the most importiontant difference between man and women.
In my opinion what makes a male's life more difficult from a females varies a lot. The first thing we have to do as males is prove that you're good to be with (in a relationship). You have to get through all the walls that a girl builds between her heart and yours. I'm not saying it's bad to be a little bit hard to get but there are some dudes that are genuinely good guys. But of course there are some assholes out there for both females and males. And I guess that's why girls act so hard to get. And after you get a girl to catch feeling for you as a male you have to constantly be tested by the girl you want to be serious with. In a females mind, guys ALWAYS cheat. Which isn't the truth at all. So to not be cheated on, males are constantly interrogated by their significant other. I personally can care less if a girl I'm in a relationship with constantly asks me if I'm doing anything thats "bad" because I am pretty loyal if I do say so myself and if I do something "bad" I would confess to my significant other because it's the right thing to do. I like to think more guys are like me and not horrible and unfaithful. Lastly the most unfair struggle that a male has to go through is the pressure if taking care of his family. As a male you're expected to do three things in life. Get a great wife, have awesome kids, and be able to take care of them. While the females get pregnant, males are expected to take care of the female and be able to cover all expenses for all the costs of a newborn. Trying to support a family for almost a year is no easy task. And many males punk out of being fathers an leave. Those are the assholes. But the REAL men, stay for their lady and don't skip out on their kid's life. For the real men who stick around, it's not easy but it gets better after a while. So in my opinion that's what makes a males life harder than a females
I think the most unfair thing of being a female is that we have to get our period every single month and we have to be the one who bares the child. Let’s be honest you shouldn’t trust something that can bleed for seven days and still live. I hate the time of the month I’m miserable and uncomfortable until it goes away. Also having to be the one who bares the child for nine months and get all fat and disgusting looking. It’s not something to look forward to. I didn’t even mention when the babies ready to come out…. But I’m not going to go there and the male has it made if you ask me. There only supposed to work all day and come home and chill. I could do that it isn’t that bad I do it now anyways but I still have to come home and do all my chores of living in the house hold. The other thing I can never figure out is why is it okay for a man to go bang 10 chick and he’s a pimp daddy and all his boys are proud. We all know what would happen if a girl did that and went around bragging she would be a slutty whore. It baffles me that this is how screwed up our society is. Society view males as the supporter well know a day when marriages don’t last longer than six years the female has to support herself. Things need to change we aren’t back in the 1960 anymore. Females and taking on more and more of male jobs. Things need to be equal. Black people may think they are the only ones discriminated against but all kinds of people every day. White females black males it doesn’t matter we both get hated against. Its rough but we have to learn how to just over come it and become more successful than the ignorant people judgeing us just because we aren’t the same as them.
Male: The most unfair thing about being a guy is that they mature very slowly, if not at all. They have a complete disregard of others’ feelings and tend to be very aggressive. All they care about are sports and girls, and I can’t even say that they care that much about girls as people. It’s unfair that men are so simple-minded.
Female: The most unfair thing about being a girl is that their lives are so complicated. They are also very frail and weak. It’s also unfair that they have to be in the kitchen all the time to make men food. They also have to carry purses everywhere.
This brings me to my real point: the most unfair thing about being a male/female is the stereotyping. Modern society has proven that many men and women have transcended their gender roles to live their lives, not as ‘that guy’ or ‘that girl’, but as an individual. Many of the worlds’ greatest chefs are men, and women are serving in the military and even running for president! Of course, I wouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton, but it’s a start. The point of the matter is that being a certain gender shouldn’t change the way your life is lived, or serve as an excuse for “Oh, well my life isn’t as easy because I’m a [insert gender here].” “Prejudice is like Excalibur; only those deemed ‘worthy’ can use it against their enemies, and nobody wants to set it back in the stone.” (You like that metaphor? I just came up with it right now.)
Well seeing as im not a female im not going to take the females side regardless of my respect for them and the turmoil that they must go through in life because i feel male turmoil isnt represented enough.
Alright well the first and main argument ill present is the stereo type that everymale either fills into or has to fight all there life to resent it. This is the stereo type that all guys are just a bunch of horney, overly agressive, Sport and video game loving, ignorant and insensitive bastards. Now the fact is that yes alot of guys are always in the endless pursuit of female relations and yeah there are alot of guys who plaster this stereo type upon guys everywhere but that isnt men in general. Second yeah testosterone is a bastard and when you put men together there violent tendencies start to show but the same can be said about women cramped up together. As for the sport and video game obsession im not truly sure why this happens with so many guys it just kinda does we arent hard to entertain. Lastly when ever men are said to not have any kind of feelings it bothers me because all our lives men are told to not show emotion, pain, or feeling then we are black listed for such behavior which is alot of bull. anyway again the men to women complaint ratio is very lopsided in the girls favor so i cant really compare te two genders.
I honestly feel like men have it more unfair than women. The only thing women really go through are like their period (Which last one week out the month) and being pregnant, and being pregnant is optional. And being pregnant for nine months is nothing compared to 18 years of having to take care of the kid that resulted from the family. not saying that men shouldnt take care of the kid or that its a bad thing but still, thats 18 years. On top of that in society men are held to a higher standard. We're the head of the house hold, work for countless hours just to come home to spend that money on the woman and kid. Then on top of THAT, if the woman decides "oh i dont think this is working out" and they get a divorce not only will the woman more than likely get custody of the kid/kids (because we all know courts favor women) and half of everything the mans worth (which is stupid), but after all that the men STILL have to pay for a child they barely get to see. 9 months just doesnt seem like it compares.
The most unfair thing about being a male is the fact that we have to pay child support (in many cases), buy the wedding rings, pay ridiculously expensive dinner/outing bills, along with all of the other dirty work, for example, getting into it with another dude if he disrespects our women.
